How do I purchase a tag?

EASY! If you are not a paying member, you can purchase any tag that is available by using the paypal buttons. Add your name to the available area and click the paypal button, and you will view your cart. Then, submit and I will fill your order as soon as possible.

I don’t use paypal, is there another way to pay?

Yes, there is. You can write to me at smidget28@comcast.net and I will talk with you about sending a check. Cash is not accepted.

What does the pay membership include?

Many things! You can read about the membership options at the HUB, but also, I can tell you that premiers get just about anything, like computer advice, fonts, tubes, masks and access to everything I do. This also includes my scrapkits that are coming soon and my help when I can with email questions, incredimail hassles, and simple psp questions.

What does RIPPING mean?

Ripping means stealing someone’s art. There are different ways to “rip.” Basically, think of it this way. If you use any art against the way it is intended, you are in violation of copyright law. Ripping involves changing the art, or removing the credits and copyright symbol or one of those.

I took a stationary and cropped a piece of it to use as a tag. Is that legal?

No it is not. You are not to use the “backgrounds” in letters in any way except that which they are intended. Cutting apart the stationary is RIPPING and violation of copyright law.

I added my name to a free tag offered here. Is that ok?

No, it’s not. The free items here are for use AS IS without alteration. See above for more details.

I love the work here, where does it come from?

I make it. I create the work using my mouse and my imagination. Sometimes I use a tablet for my drawings. Everything I do is original, I do not use tutorials or copy other artists.

How is this art created?

I think about an idea, and then I draw the main part. Sometimes I have to look up a photo of an animal to get the clear picture. I create the outline. Then, I color the drawing. Following this, I add details, shadowing, and depth. I save everything I draw as a tube. Then, I select the font for it that complements the design and plan what message I will use, and where the wording will be placed. I also save each tag in ANIMATION SHOP, so that I get proper transparency and add the copyright info. I do all of this in my PSP (Paint Shop Pro) program. I use PSP 8, it’s my favorite! It takes me about 3 hours from start to finish for each new tag template. To use the template and create a new tag, it takes a bit less.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 1999. I actually started dappling with incredimail letters first. Then, I started to try and draw. My art has grown and changed a lot since then. The website did not open until Summer 2004.

Can I submit ideas for a tag I’d like to see?

Certainly. Click the question above and an email will open. Suggest away! I cannot promise your suggestion will be created, but in many cases, I am looking for new ideas all the time!

Can I request a specific message or design for a tag?

Sometimes!…..Premiers can pretty much request anything and I will do my best to create it. Others can suggest, but I cannot promise that I will make it, however, I do appreciate ideas. In the past PREMIERS have requested specific tags with children’s photos, stationary with their own face, tags about specific events like sporting events in their home states, or disasters, etc that they have survived, even personal messages that mean something to only them and their families. I have had PREMIER requests for everything from signature boxes, to tubes, to online business cards to masks, scrapkits, scripts and websets. I’ve heard about your SCRAPKITS, but they are not here. What gives?

I am working on this. They take a LONG TIME to get uploaded and organized. I hope to have them up by Thanksgiving. I love them and they are great for creating so hang tight.
